BOSTON CROHN'S AND COLITIS
Working Towards a Brighter Future
The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s mission is to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these devastating and
debilitating digestive diseases.
Ben Farnham - 2019 Honored Hero
Please join the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation in congratulating Greater Boston Take Steps' Team Veritas Have Faith + Ben in passing the $150,000 mark in lifetime fundraising to power the Foundation’s mission forward to a future free from Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis! This past September, the Verity and Farnham families raised $29,000 at their annual golf tournament at the George Wright Course in Hyde Park, MA.
This powerhouse friends & family team has been participating in Take Steps since 2008 in honor of Faith Farnham, her son Ben (our 2019 Pediatric Honored Hero), and her nephew Kevin, who all have Crohn's disease. Thank you, Team Veritas Have Faith + Ben, for all that you do to inspire our community!
TEAM VERITAS HAVE FAITH + BEN AT A GLANCE
My family and I walk with our team, Veritas Have Faith + Ben, which was created because I, my aunt Faith and her youngest son Ben all have Crohn’s disease. Crohn’s is a very big thing in our family and we take our fundraising efforts very seriously, with the goal to one day find a cure. My aunt Faith and I are in remission and stable, however my cousin Ben has not shared the same fate as he is battling everyday with his Crohn’s, constantly in and out of the hospital and most recently getting a portion of his colon removed. It is reasons like this we take our fundraising seriously and do the best we can.
